SUZANNE I. BARCHERS, Ed.D., has written fifty books, ranging from college textbooks to children's books. She has served as a public school teacher, an affiliate faculty for the University of Colorado-Denver, acquisitions editor for Teacher Ideas Press, Editor and Chief of Leapfrog, and Managing Editor at Weekly Reader. She also serves on the PBS Kids Media Advisory Board and is a past member of the board of directors for the Association of Educational Publishers (EdPress).
