Textbook Examination & Desk Copy Requests

Examination Copies

College instructors may request an examination copy of Greenwood Press, Praeger, Libraries Unlimited, or Teacher Ideas Press titles for adoption consideration. The book will be sent on a 60–day approval with an invoice. A 50% academic courtesy discount will be applied on that invoice. For instructors who adopt the book (and place an order for eight or more copies through their college bookstore) or return the book within 60 days, the invoice will be cancelled. Instructors who wish to keep the book agree to pay the invoice within 60 days.

To request an examination copy, please complete our online Examination Copy Request Form. You can also click the "Order Examination Copy" button on any book page to access this form.

Desk Copies

If you have not yet ordered an examination copy, a complimentary desk copy of a Greenwood Publishing Group book will be supplied to you by completing our online Desk Copy Request Form. We require confirmation of your bookstore's order for eight or more copies of the book.

Permissions Information & Requests

Permission requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Processing time varies, but on average take four to six weeks. Requests must be submitted using one of the following Online forms:

• Publication Permissions Form For reprinting GPG material in a book, article, essay, or electronic publication.
• Educational Permissions Form For using GPG material in the classroom or for other educational purposes.
• PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT DUPLICATE REQUESTS.
